There are some instances where the Pensionhelp Direct Service may not be appropriate for you. These are known as our ‘Terms of Engagement’. They change from time to time, and include the following areas:
Our Offering Is unlikely to be right for you if:
- You are below age 50.
- If you are a member of the scheme and still building up benefits.
- If you are looking to use your pension transfer value to purchase commercial property.
- You have less than eight weeks until the guarantee date for your transfer value expires. If that is the case, there is a strong chance the deadline may be missed. If a new transfer value is required the scheme may charge for this, and the new transfer value may be lower than the initial one. Pensionhelp Direct accept all cases on the understanding that we do not guarantee to meet any deadline dates and never have done.
- On occasion it may not be clear whether you meet our terms of engagement. If we discover that you do not meet our terms of engagement after we have started to review your pension, we will inform you as soon as we are able and there will be no charge for any of the work we have done to that point.
